The writings and musings of Nicole Daedone

As the day unfolded, it hit me, this is OM’s day in court.

In a culture that has outsourced its instincts and handed over its power, OM restores the most basic kind of freedom—the freedom to feel, to connect, and to heal on our own terms.

Within a simple, structured container of attention and connection, Orgasmic Meditation tunes the nervous system to subtlety, aligns the mind with the body’s intelligence, and refines our capacity to feel.

There’s precious little substance to this case—just salaciousness, scandal, and the all-too-familiar sense that female sexuality is something to be suppressed and controlled by the state.

Trauma isn’t a life sentence.
Healing can happen
through connection, through sensation, through arousal.
Through OM.

A new groundbreaking study analyzing over 1,500 journal entries from Orgasmic Meditation (OM) practitioners and my own personal OM journals from 2003 and 2012, suggests that the practice elicits profound mystical experiences.

Orgasmic Meditation (OM) is a 15-minute, attention-training practice that uses a precise, structured technique to awaken the body’s most potent force—the erotic impulse—and direct it toward healing and growth.

“The idea is that Orgasmic Meditation uses arousal to access latent creativity and a mystical state; she believes practitioners can use this “erotic force” to connect with others and decrease suffering.”

OM is training in
arousal modulation. Arousal Modulation is about developing a more conscious relationship with one’s body.

Researchers now find one of the best ways to access a mystical state is the pairing of sexual arousal with mindful concentration through OM.
