The Erotic Realm

An invisible Erotic dimension permeates existence, a frequency of reality that remains hidden until the mind is sufficiently attuned.

Much like an optical illusion, the shift is perceptual: First there is confusion, then a sudden, undeniable clarity where the world reveals itself as illuminated from within.

This is not a matter of guesswork, belief, or reliance on intermediaries, but a direct, sensory intimacy with the inner expression of life. Once the Erotic faculty is awakened, we bypass the need for external validation, operating instead by a simple, underlying truth.

We no longer merely seek the meaning of life, for we have been shot directly into the vein of life itself, perceiving the noncontradictory complexity of what is truly real. To the untrained eye, this path appears chaotic, for Eros seeks the total expression of life, attending equally to creative and
destructive forces.

This is not a journey of performing exalted spiritual qualities, cultivating gratitude, peace, or sainthood, but a ruthless engagement with reality that allows life to destroy whatever within us is not true.

We do not float above existence with an equanimous smile; we are immersed in the flesh, desire, and human vulnerability, guided only by an internal organ that senses where the life force is most concentrated.

To open the door to the Erotic is to surrender to the totality of life as the sole organizing principle, organizing our existence around what makes us fully alive rather than what makes us appear “good.” Armed with this discernment, we distinguish the life-giving gold from the artificial fool’s gold of societal pretense.

The hallowed presence of Eros ignores the theatre of robes, titles, and venerable institutions, often appearing more potently in a pool hall than at the Enlightenment Ball. We become unswayed by the hype of the “spiritual” and the condemnation of the “profane,” recognizing that the holy is simply that which is filled with life, and the profane is that which deadens it.

This is a profoundly adult realm of disillusionment, one that strips away the high theatrics of authority to reveal the artifice of what we venerate and the unexpected innocence of what we once feared.

More Musings

The Age of Eros is a manifesto, a guide, to the coming of an era. This is a woman’s way.
