Redefining Power

The issue in our culture is that we define power by its imposter. We call force power. We call authority power. But force is not power. Authority is not power. The ability to amass huge sums of money has no correlation with true power.

True power is the sustained capacity to uplift and raise things into their realized form. That is what power is. That is what power does. That feeling when you are lifted—when you feel the rush of contagious inspiration—you are in the presence of power.  There is that sense that you could do or become anything. That is what true power does. It supports the highest and deepest good in all things.
