Part 4: Woman—The Inconvenient Path & Practice

At this point, the trusted bond between woman and desire has been earned through the fire. She begins to enjoy certain positive reinforcement or boons. A state of eudaimonia enters, a sense of flourishing. The process becomes autotelic, self-rewarding.

  1. It becomes more natural to move from complaint to creativity.
  2. She now looks inward rather than outward for gratification.
  3. Gratification is based on an internal resonance of excellence. There is a spot she can sense and toward which she can move.
  4. Whereas before it took ten efforts for one drop of satisfaction, now it takes far less. Ease and comfort come not from lack of activity but from motion itself.
  5. This is a key stage because feminine practice is about incarnation and one’s works in the world. She should not move forward until she senses pleasure in dynamism and connection.
  6. She learns to make requests, trusting that it is for the greater good. She distinguishes between requests and demands.
  7. This is the stage of patience. She must hold her vision as the world responds more slowly than desire moves.
  8. Her practice begins to move outward. She trusts her vision and is developing the connective skills to carry it out.
  9. Behavior shifts from reaction to response.
  10. She begins to see the relationship of causes and conditions that exist in this location.
  11. A vital distinction emerges between carrying another and offering just enough request that they can succeed with her.
  1. A dynamic confidence is set. When she can extend her vision into the world in a connected way that benefits all, she is ready to move to the next stage.
