In Eros we are liberated of the consciousness that would tell us there is somewhere we need to get to and that we should hurry. We call this climax consciousness. The consciousness that ultimately robs us of all experience, and because we lack experience, we have no gravity or ability to remain where we are. Eros then views both the procedures and outcomes of life as the reward. If we love what is, there is no reason to escape. So there is no “ultimate” or “there” to arrive at. This is why we can afford to learn the art of Samsara. Eros says, not only should we not avoid it, but we should craft our lives inside of it.
