Power, once harnessed, must be aimed and directed where it is needed. As women, to claim our inherent power is to claim the birthright of our sexual energy. Historically, societal conditions have made many of us ambivalent about using our power. The more we have revealed it, our essence, based in our unique consciousness and sexual energies, the more we have suffered.
In the past fifty years, with the rise of identity culture, and the failures of feminism, our Feminine Consciousness, has either been subsumed or watered down. The notion of women as the personification of evil is codified in law, liturgy, literature, and life.
At this moment of great change in the world, our aim is to rekindle collaboration. Specifically, we are creating a collective—individuals and organizations alike—made up of all kinds of women. The collective will be known as the Women Are Power Movement and the Manifesto states its aims: to rebalance the world with female sexual energy and consciousness.
