Yesterday was epic.
As the day unfolded, it hit me, this is OM’s day in court. It was like an epic and ancient war was being fought between the forces that, like Aristotle, were being used to guard against what they were put there to serve: female sexuality.
From the epic perspective I could see the theater of what was playing out and was honored to be in the role that I was playing. My mind moved to, “What is best for OM?” which is very different from “What is best for Nicole?”
But there was a moment, where from that vantage point, the two became one and the same. What was best for OM was what was best for me. That was so rich.
Lastly, an element of poetic justice. Some feminism history. McKinnon and Dworkin became bedfellows with the Christian right to subdue sex with anti-porn legislation. #MeToo was built on the back of that legislation.
As we partner with a variety of people who see, it strikes me that it will be Bonjean/Daedone that take on unexpected bedfellows to undo that damage done by Dworkin and McKinnon, restoring the Erotic in its rightful place in our lives. To make it to the plane of reality we are in can’t be faked and is beyond courage; it’s fearlessness. The relentless fearlessness that will not be stopped by the greatest force, intimidation tactics, or quite frankly poor play and cheating by the institutions.
That fearlessness is what going on Dr. Phil was for me. Again in a way that absolutely cannot be faked, where your whole identity is principle. There’s a plane of people there who live by vastly different content of principle but the exact same dedication to principle. Content is secondary.
Each path is a vector, a doorway into the eternal. You respect strong doorways. You’re glad they exist. Because you care more that people arrive than how they get there.
The signifier of a real doorway is this: You make it through the hazing. You withstand. And you resurrect after the cross.
