Eros seeks union with chaos, as much as it seeks union with creativity, union with another human being, or union with nature. It involves an undifferentiated search for union. It encompasses all of life, including that which we would discard. Its purpose is to evoke the wonder within everything, leaving nothing out. It’s a magnetic force of attraction that saturates our experiences with meaning by drawing us into engagement with the natural mystery and innate playfulness of life.
