We are a lock-your-door, turn-your-lights-off world.
The vow I made is: stay in the house, leave the lights on, and keep the door open.
A good woman is a doorway.
She offers more access to emptiness itself. She says, I am the light. She knows exactly what you’re experiencing because she is experiencing it, too.
Each of us is standing at a doorway to emptiness. But we get so entranced with the specifics of our door.
The door could be a Star of David, a momentous event, a woman.
I appreciate every door that has ever let me in.
I appreciate its beauty. I have infinite reverence for it. What I want everyone to know is, don’t get stuck on the door. Keep walking through. This is where we all meet.
