Love Sees

Love sees the soul, and a soul truly seen opens the gate to secrets
never before imagined.
You cannot begin to fathom what lies within another until you step inside. And once you do,
it transforms you. It rearranges your perceptions, dismantling ideas formed
from mere surfaces—enriching, discarding, or unveiling entirely new ways of seeing.

Love, however, is the great mediator. To enter another’s world, you must leave behind your identity—its preferences, its preconceptions—at the threshold.

Yet, you must also carry
enough of yourself that you do not become lost, merely dependent on the other to sustain you. Connection is formed when you bring something of value, not just what you wish to give, but what is genuinely needed.

This, I believe, is the key to meaningful entry: Be impressionable enough to receive foreign truths, yet not so impressionable that you have nothing of your own to offer.

The Age of Eros is a manifesto, a guide, to the coming of an era. This is a woman’s way.
